San Gervasio Mayan Arquaeological Site

The most important and best studied prehispanic site of all the documented settlements in Cozumel. It is considered the center of pilgrimages where the Mayan worshiped the Goddess “Ixchel”. San Gervasio consist of six architectural sets and other isolated templed joined by a network of white trailed called “sacbes”.
